The Catch Up® team and trainers

Catch Up® comprises a core office team, including the Director, Julie Lawes, and a team of local authority or self-employed Catch Up® Accredited Trainers (CUATs). It also works with specialist consultants in education, research, IT, communications, book distribution and multimedia. Catch Up® is governed by a board of trustees. Visit the tabs below to find out more about our management team, office team and trustees.

Catch Up® Accredited Trainers

We believe that all trainees are entitled to the best possible professional experience during their Catch Up® training, which is why our Catch Up® Accredited Trainers (CUATs) all undergo a very high quality and rigorous CUAT professional development process – from recruitment to ongoing consultancy opportunities. They are supported and enabled to achieve the required Gateway Qualifications- and Ofqual-recognised accreditation. In addition, the Catch Up® Numeracy intervention fulfils the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM) CPD Standard, with each CUAT (Numeracy) complying with the quality indicators. Our training and resource packages are in the Good CPD guide.

All CUATs are provided with quantitative and qualitative data on the evaluation feedback from everyone they train, helping us to ensure that we maintain the high standard of our award-winning training.

Our CUATs also have the opportunity to undertake consultancy work for Catch Up® based on their individual skills, knowledge and expertise, as well as their CPD preferences, and they help to influence the development and refinement of the Catch Up® integrated training and resource packages. We are very proud of our Catch Up® Accredited Trainers - click the CUAT tab to meet them below.
